What We Do:
ACTION VC provides specialized home modifications for Ventura County residents with disabilities. This includes building and installing ADA-compliant ramps to restore accessibility & independence.
How You Can Help:
Join us by bringing helping hands and sponsoring the cost of materials for one project. In 1-2 days, a group of about 5 people with no previous experience can witness firsthand the impact small acts of service truly have on our community.

ACTION VC’s dedicated Accessibility for All team works year-round to bridge this gap for our neighbors who have nowhere else to turn. Thanks to projects like these, people can remain safe in their homes knowing they are a part of a community that cares for their needs.
What is the commitment:
We are looking for groups of around 5 people to join our team the day they install a ramp at our client’s residence. Highly skilled builders are welcome to contribute to the preliminary stages. However, no previous experience is required. Our experts will be right alongside you. All you need is a willingness to learn and to join in!
What is the Cost:
A fully ADA-compliant wheelchair ramp costs about $2,500 in materials & fees. We also build smaller threshold ramps, which cost around $500. If you are able to contribute all or part of the cost, that helps us allocate resources to help even more neighbors in need.
ACTION VC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and all donations are tax deductible. As an added benefit, we will promote our collaboration with your group through social media, email, and a press release.
